‘What the hell,’ Jeff thinks after a while, ‘what harm could it do? If he calls and I am my real self, I can simply text him that I’ll call back later, then transform into Natsumi and call him back, no biggie’. The “girl” smiles, “sure,” she says, taking out her phone, “give me your number,” she then says.
Hiro smiles wide and happily gives “Natsumi” his number, after adding Hiro to her contacts, “Natsumi” gives Hiro her number, “thanks, Natsumi,” the boy says, putting his phone away, “would you like to meet up tomorrow?”
“Natsumi” thinks for a while, “sure, why not,” she says.
“Cool,” Hiro says, beaming, “let’s meet here at 10am, how does that sound?”
“Sounds good to me, Hiro,” the “girl” says, smiling.
“Sweet, I’ll see you tomorrow then,” the boy says.
“Yeah, see you tomorrow, Hiro,” with that “Natsumi” turns and starts walking away.
Hiro watches the “girl” for a while, smiling to himself, ‘I have a good feeling that this will develop into more than just friendship,’ he thinks to himself before turning and walking the opposite direction.
The next morning “Natsumi” decides to copy the program onto her phone, creating an independent app, she then opens the app and sets it so the app will notify her an hour before she transforms back into her true self. Should “Natsumi” find herself in a situation in which she is unable to leave, she’ll just simply pause the timer, then restart it once she is no longer near Hiro.
When “Natsumi” arrives at the meeting point the “girl” smiles when she sees Hiro already waiting for her, the boy smiling and waving once he spots her.
“Natsumi, so nice to see you again,” the boy says.
“Hiro,” the “girl” says, waving back, “it’s so nice to see you again too”.
Hiro smiles, “can… can I give you a hug,” he asks.
‘A hug won’t hurt,’ Jeff thinks to himself, “sure,” the “girl” then says.
Hiro smiles wide, wrapping his arms around the “girl”, his smile widening when he feels “Natsumi” hug him back, ‘she smells so… good,’ the boy thinks to himself, closing his eyes.
“Alright, that’s enough,” the “girl” chuckles.
Hiro looks at “Natsumi”, the boy pouting cutely, “aaaaw… b-but…,” he says.
“No “buts”,” the “girl” giggles, letting go of the boy, “behave, Hiro!”
Hiro sighs, “alright… it’s… it’s just so hard to NOT want to hold you longer,” he says, “I… have to be honest with you, Natsumi”.
‘Please don’t say it,’ the “girl” thinks to herself.
“Ever since we met,” Hiro says, “I… I can’t stop thinking about you”.
‘Crap baskets,’ Jeff thinks to himself, “I’m sorry, Hiro,” she then says, “I’ve told you yesterday that I am not ready for a relationship, especially not with someone I have just met a day ago. I just don’t want to end up doing something I might regret”.
Hiro sighs and nods, “and I get it,” he says, “I promise, I’ll do my best to keep my… urges and feelings under control”.
“Natsumi” smiles, “and you’ll manage it,” she says, “so, what would you like to do?”
