After a few moments, the other girl spoke again. "You-" A short pause. "When we were scanning everyone into the Chronivac earlier, I saw that you and Felicity had profiles. And when I slipped away for a 'bathroom' break a few minutes ago, I.. found the transformation active." The other girl admits, to Jennifer's surprise, while looking away. "I was going to confront you and Felicity when it wore off, wanting to know why you would do that." After another pause, she looked back at her former brother and added, "But... Thank you for being honest... and... are you saying you didn't know either?"
Jennifer shook her head. "Sort of... I didn't at first, honest! I only knew my own life, not... not being your older brother. And I still don't really know much... I just know Felicity either wanted to do it, or suggested we do it... and that it would've ended Sunday..." Going back to looking away in guilt, she continued. "And, it's kind of scary to think about it."
"Scary?" Lucy asked, tilting her head. "How so?"
A note of unease crept onto Jennifer's face. "Well... When it wears off, what's going to happen to me?" She questioned. "Am I... Am I just going to cease to exist? Or.. Or will I remain stuck as part of some boy, like how 'Jeff' is part of me right now?" The fear was evident in her voice as she continued. "And... If I stay like this, do I even have a life to go back to? Or was all of that a lie from the Chronivac, too...?"
Lucy visibly shivered, just at the thought of it. "That... is scary to think about..." She commented. "I don't know what I'd do if the thought of just... not existing anymore was a real possibility..." She took a moment, then added, "And it's really creepy, too. Not the existence part, but what Jeff and Alan did, transforming into girls to crash our sleepover..."
