"But." Lucy continued, a grin appearing on her face. "Don't worry, when I found out, I made sure to punish them. And on the bright side, you don't have to worry about ceasing to exist."
Jennifer looked up, confused, for a few seconds. Lucy could almost see the gears turning, followed by the wide-eyed expression as it clicked for the other girl. "Wait. Did you mess with the transformation?!"
Lucy nodded, same grin on her face. "Yep! I made it permanent!" The girl declared. "You won't turn back into those creepy boys anytime soon! And the only risk of you and Felicity ceasing to exist is if you want to take that risk yourselves!"
Hearing those words, Jennifer leaped up, tackling her ex-sister in a hug, a huge weight off her shoulders. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!" She almost squeaked out, as Lucy returned the embrace. Jennifer could feel Jeff's anger at that revelation, but she tried to suppress him as best she could.
The two girls kept their embrace up for a few minutes, a glimpse at both their former bond as siblings, and a potential, genuine friendship that's yet to form. When it finally came time to break the hug, Jennifer reluctantly wiggled out of the other girl's arms, knowing there's still one more thing to discuss.
"So... What now?" Jennifer asked, then went to clarify. "I-I mean... There's still the possibility of my entire life, everything I've known, being a lie... And, what does this mean for our relationship now...? Do we... do we stay friends, or... go back to being siblings, or... something else...?"
