Felicity stayed put, waiting. After a bit, she heard as Jennifer finished up, the sound of peeing dissipating. The faint rip of the roll of toilet paper as Jennifer wiped up.
There was a pause between the rip, and the sound of Jennifer fixing her clothes. Or at least, Felicity thought that was it, but more rustling seemed to suggest that maybe it wasn't. Felicity was wondering what was going on with her friend, but as tempting as it was to peek out and check on her, she held back. Both because Jennifer would, very understandably, be creeped out at the thought of being spied on in the bathroom, and because she needed to remain hidden, due to what's going on.
Then she heard Jennifer speak, an uncertain tone as she muttered to herself. "Do I want to stick it out until Sunday, like I think was planned? Or should I try and turn myself back now and leave Felicity, or whoever she was before, to remain so until Sunday?"
That that Felicity's attention. "What does she mean, turn back?" She asked herself internally. "Leave me? Whoever I was before? What is she talking about...?" As she heard Jennifer's footsteps approaching, no doubt to wash her hands, Felicity was even more tempted to talk to her.
