Felicity decided to continue to wait, wanting to think. She didn't want to make a decision until she was ready, until she had plenty of time to think it through. And no matter what she did, she didn't want to end up making things worse.
The main thing on her mind was the Jeff and Alan detail. She wasn't sure how she should feel about this 'Alan'. "Am I Alan..?" She couldn't help but ask herself. "If he... turned into me, but I've lived... or, I think I've lived...? A completely different life, and don't even remember being him... does that still make me... him?" A pause in her thoughts. "Or, am I my own person...?"
She knew the answer she wanted to believe - That she wasn't some creepy boy, infiltrating a group of girls by disguising as one of them. But.. Just because she wanted to believe she wasn't, that didn't entirely make it true... And even if she was her own person, the thought of being made by him for that purpose was still creepy.
And, if it was like Jennifer... Alan potentially being apart of her made her doubts and concerns even stronger. "How much is he still... here?" She questioned. "Is he... watching through my eyes...? Hearing what I hear? Or is he completely gone...?" The thought of Alan using her as a spy made everything worse.
But then another intrusive thought appeared. "And what does this make my relationship with Jennifer?" She couldn't help but wonder. "If... Jeff and Alan created us... does that make us siblings, in a way? Made by the same people..." She knew she'd have to speak to Jennifer at some point about these thoughts, and what they imply. Especially considering Jennifer's relationship with Lucy, and the possibility of either of their lives not existing at all.
...Both girls were right outside the cabinet. At any moment, she could talk to them about this if she wanted to. And she had to admit, she was curious why it was so quiet, even if it gave her mind a little while to wander and make sense of what she'd learned. But she wasn't sure if she was ready yet, and waiting could lead to her learning something else.
