The deceased Dan is cut apart and brought to the table, but before his family can eat him, a voice speaks up.
"I wouldn't touch that if I were you," there is suddenly a tall man in a trenchcoat standing in the corner of the dining room.
"Hey! Who are you? What's the big idea?" Kat and Dan's father stands up sharply, pointing his finger at the intruder.
"Katherine Deanna Singleton, you are charged with the crime of using magic to commit fratricide." He says, snapping his fingers. In a flash, Kat is now standing, not of her own will.
"Kat?" Her mother says. "What's he talking about?"
She doesn't get a chance to answer. "The lobster you are about to eat was formerly your son, Daniel. By the autority vested in me by the High Magic Tribunal, I hereby place you under arrest. You have the right to remain silent, Katherine. Anything you say or do will be used against you in the Grand High Court." He snaps his fingers again, and this time Kat is six inches tall and in a jar that has holes in the lid. The police officer then walks over to the jar and snatches it up.
"The trial will be held tomorrow morning, seven am. Your son's body is deceased, but he will be reincarnated come morning. As what, I don't know, but it won't be human. You'll know when it happens, as he'll come here. My condolences."
And just like that, he's gone.
