Stephanie surprisingly took one of the drinks that was near Thomas and offered it to Pauline. At first, Pauline was confused, but took it anyway before looking back at Stephanie in surprise.
“Go ahead drink it! It will help solve your problems.” Stephanie said with a smile. Pauline took a look at the others at the table. Thomas was a bit confused, but overall nonchalant about it. Daniel looked concerned at her while Sumire motioned not to do it. Not deterred by this Pauline started drinking.
‘I probably shouldn’t have burden them after all little Nate is our teacher…’Gulp‘…is my son whose father hewill not see. Madison need to watch her mouth at the mire suggestion…’Gulp‘…at the idea of using the room to making little Nate older. I mean I get Seth was a bit of a looker but at the idea that Nate would’ve inherited his father’s looks. However, even though she’s my best friend…’Gulp ‘…former best friend who I get wants to salvage our friendship by volunteering to room…’Gulp‘…practically force me to room with her. She better watch herself around me otherwise I will probably request for a room trans…’Gulp‘…she may find herself to be an older sister of Nate or maybe spending time in my womb.’ thought Pauline as she drank the drink when she was done she sat it back on the table.
She look at the others, her age at the table and was puzzled by the reactions. Daniel look at her with concern while Henry being a taller, just doesn’t seem to give a care; seriously, why Daniel have to bring his cousin on this trip? Fellow student and Daniel’s girlfriend Sumire who Pauline remember was on the tennis team, look at her as if something bad has happened. Thomas was nonchalant yet again, but his girlfriend, fellow student from English class, and one of the popular girls Stephanie gave her a smile.
“Feeling better?” Asked Stephanie.
“Yeah I don’t know why I was bothering you with all this. Is crystal cleared that Madison doesn’t no longer respect boundaries anymore after my son was born. You think she realize that after I give birth to a child that I may need some space. Especially all the trauma I went through with Nate’s father Seth, but no she didn’t and she practically forced me to room with her. She really needs to learn to respect boundaries. Otherwise little Nate will probably get an older sibling maybe a younger one during this entire trip.” Pauline ranted. Daniel and Sumire looked horrified at what she said,
“Who knows maybe it’ll be allowed to keep her as a child after this trip.” Added Thomas. This caused Pauline to think about it.
“You might be on to something.” Pauline said until the waitress came to them. “I’m silly question how much do we pay for this?”
“Since you all are with Jefferson High School, the bill for food is being charged to them, but don’t worry we are surprisingly cheap compared to others.” The waitress said.
“Thank you.” Pauline said as she got up and proceeded to pick up Nate’s baby carrier before reattaching it to the stroller. Once she was done, she turned to face the people at the table. “Again sorry for bothering you all with this but let’s have dinner together another time. Maybe lunch.” With that she headed to the exit pushing the stroller along the way.
‘Now what to do about Madison?’ Pauline thought as she left the restaurant. She didn’t get two steps when her cell phone started ringing. Confused Madison press the green button and held the phone to her ear.
“Hello?” She asked.
