An hour later, Jeff, Henry and Lucy are sitting in the living room of Mike’s large ranch home, all three can barely keep their excitement under control.
“So, we really are gonna become animals,” Lucy asks, her eyes sparkle.
“That or you could choose to be an object associated to a ranch, like a tractor, plough, tool, or even a building,” Mike chuckles.
“Nah, I wanna be an animal,” Lucy says.
“What about you two boys,” Mike asks, turning to Henry and Jeff.
“I too would rather be an animal,” Henry says.
“What about you Jeff,” Mike then asks the teen.
Jeff tilts his head, “I honestly don’t know,” he says, then smiles, “so I have decided to give you the permission to transform me into something”.
“Alright,” Mike says, he then turns back to Henry and Lucy, “so, any idea what animal you’d want to be for the two weeks?”
“Surprise us,” both say, smiling.
Mike chuckles, “so… you’d be okay with being… let’s say… a pig for two weeks?”
The children giggle, “sure, we don’t care,” they say.
“I mean… an animal is an animal, right,” Henry asks, “so…,” the boy shrugs.
Lucy nods, “I agree with Henry,” she says.
Mike chuckles, “alright,” he says, “so, this is how it will go: you all will keep your minds, but I will give you the instincts of the animal I chose for you, just to make it easier for you to fit in and harder for your mother to “find” you”.
All three giggle, “best game of hide-and-seek ever,” they say.
Mike smiles, “then let’s get your transformations set up,” he says, taking out his phone, “I have the perfect appearances for you in mind”. ‘I’ll make sure to give you brats your TRUE purposes,’ he thinks to himself as he scans them and starts setting up their transformations, ‘hehe… once I am done with you, you’ll be more useful than you are now! And you will not be the last I’ll… hehe… make better!’
Jeff, Henry and Lucy all watch as Mike starts typing away on his phone, all three excited to see what they’ll become.
After a few minutes Mike looks up, the man smiling at them, “everything is set, you guys ready?”
All three nod, “heck yeah,” they say.
Mike chuckles before confirming whatever transformations he had chosen for them.
