While Jeff and Amy were having a wonderful time on their honeymoon, Jamie was at her grandparent's house getting ready to eat her dinner that was had been her personal favorite from her grandmother. Jamie's old memories like Jeff's were being replaced with new ones, or rather memories that had always been there. Jamie had thought that Mary had once been her mother, but that sounded ridiculous to her now, Mary had always been her grandmother and Joey had been her grandfather, hadn't he? She vaguely thought that she had once been her oldest son, but she knew she was way too young to have any children yet and she loved her grandpa Joey very much.
"Is it perfect, just the way you like it?" Grandma Mary asked Jamie who was snapped out of daydreaming.
"Oh! Yes, grandma, it is. I'm sorry I was just....thinking about.....someone from school." Jamie sighed with a smile on her face as Joey and Mary smiled at each other while they ate their dinner before Mary spoke to her granddaughter again.
"Would this someone happen to be that boy I saw you speaking with when we picked you up?" Mary asked as Jamie face went red with embarrassment.
"It....might have been. His name is......Antonio," Jamie replied with a loving sigh. "He's the cutest Filipino boy at school, he's on the basketball team, and he's.....the dreamiest boy I've ever met." Jamie finished while looking at her grandparents who were smiling at her.
"Ah, young love, you know, I remember when your grandmother and I met at that same school princess. Let me just get my photo album." Joey said as he went over to the shelf to grab the photo album and opened it up and brought it over to Jamie to show her Joey and Mary when they were much younger in 1950s attire.
"Grandpa, you looked so handsome, and wow Grandma, you looked so pretty when you were my age." Jamie said as she looked at the pictures astounded. She thought her grandpa Joey had been young only a few days ago, but that couldn't have been the case.
"Yes, and look, here's your mom and dad when they first met, and when they went to prom together." Joey said turning the pages ahead to show a teenage Jeff and Amy.
'Jamie, remember, they're not your parents....they're your.....your....wait....what are they if they're not your parents?' Jamie's adult side said trying to remember, but all she could remember was that Jeff and Amy were her parents.
"So....do you think Antonio and I....could have a chance with each other?" Jamie asked her grandparents with a little blush.
"Oh sweetie, just let your heart guide you. If you really love this boy, then I say, you should try and pursue this boy, he might just be the one." Mary winked at Jamie as Jamie's thoughts now turned to Antonio again.
She thought about her in a wedding dress with Antonio as the groom, she recalled someone named 'Mike' but couldn't remember where she had heard the name before, all her thoughts were of her and Antonio together.
