Recognized through the haze

added by Horselessnorsemen 22 hours ago AR TG

[this starts a continuity change from my other story where Jeff’s Mom / David’s ex wife recognizes her son’s 18 year old cuntboy boyfriend as himself]

Chapter 1: Recognition in the Produce Aisle

David wasn’t expecting to run into anyone — least of all her. He was just picking up groceries, humming to himself under his breath, still flushed with the warm afterglow of the beach day from the weekend before. His shorts were short, his top a little cropped. He liked looking cute now. He was cute now.

She spotted him by the nectarines. At first, just another glance. Then a second. Then a long stare.

He noticed. Of course he did.

“Hi,” she said at last, cautious but curious. “You’re Jeff’s…?”

“Boyfriend,” David said smoothly, turning toward her with a practiced smile — and then saw her expression shift.

It wasn’t just surprise. It was recognition. Full, dawning, body-deep recognition.

“David?” she whispered, eyes wide.

He paused — then tilted his head slightly, lips parting just enough to let the truth slip through.

“Hi, Meredith.”

There was a long silence. Shoppers passed them, unaware. The moment stretched, bending under its own tension.

She looked him over — his soft curves, the bare hint of hip bone under his shirt, the cameltoe between his thighs. Her eyes lingered on the wrongness, the beauty, the impossibility.

“You were obsessed with your dick,” she said finally, half-laughing. “You loved it. Like, disturbingly.”

“I know,” David said, eyes sparkling. “Then I loved something else more.”

She blinked. “You have a…?”

David stepped closer, just enough for her to feel the answer by running her finger along his crotch. “It’s not the body you used to sleep with,” he murmured. “But it’s the body I like better. And apparently, so does Jeff.”

That sent a shiver down her spine — of confusion, arousal, jealousy, and something darker.

“You’re his boyfriend,” she repeated, but her voice was softer now. “You’re our son’s boyfriend.”

David gave her a slow, sly smile. “That’s not what’s bothering you.”

She didn’t deny it.
