Rick noticed the pink smoke was beginning to condense on his skin. He tried in vain to wipe it off. Then he began coughing as he accidentally breathed some of it in. Rick tried to make his way to the stairs, but collapsed on the floor. He tried to crawl, but his arms and legs felt weak.
Rick realized the smoke was making his clothing disintegrate and his skin was turning pink. He felt wet all over. Touching his arm, it felt rubbery. Again Rick tried to crawl for the stairs, but his hand hit the floor with a splat. He collapsed and passed out.
When Rick regained consciousness, the pink smoke was gone. Rick could feel he was laying on the floor in a puddle. As he slowly sat up, he realized he was the puddle. As he sat up, he could see his entire body was pink and gooey. He still had a human shape, but it was not as solid as it had once been. Looking at his hands, his arms seemed to melt into the puddle. Concentrating, the puddle slowly seemed to flow into his arms and reform his hands.
He stared at his changed form in disbelief.
