Tingling hit Amy all of a sudden. Every inch of her body felt itchy, and she could see short hairs grow all over her skin. It was purple in the sections where the purple stripes were, and yellow in the others. She looked back into the mirror and noticed her ears were now pointed and longer. Her feet ached, and she fell to the floor. She struggled with aching hands to remove her shoes, and when she did she saw two purple hooves protruding from her thickly yellow-haired ankles. She looked to her hands, and saw why they were also hurting. Her fingers had merged together, making to thick fingers and a thumb on each hand, tipped in large purple nails.
"Uh...," the purple-and-yellow-furred girl stammered.
"Oh jeez, I'm sorry!" Grace yelled, hands over her mouth. "I didn't mean to!"
"Why do I keep changing?" Amy asked, frustrated. She struggled to her feet--hooves, now.
"The ink is designed to augment the body, not just paint it," she explained. "More exposure to the ink changes you further into an animal. A zebra, in this case." She said it rather mechanically, as if she had spent too much time reading textbooks on the store's inventory.
"Then you must know if there's something that will change me back," Amy said, snorting out of her slightly wider purple nose.
"Well, there's supposed to be an ink remover bottle...but I can't find it." She kept looking through the inks. "Jeez, I hope we didn't sell all of them!"
