Taking stock of how your body feels right now, you don't notice anything different... except some weird muscle spasms in your ears!
"It's happening to--HAAAAAWW!! It's, it's happening to you to!" exclaims Lyra.
"Oh, no," you say, grabbing your ears. "OH NO!!!" you shout, feeling how deep and long they are. You try to yank one of the massive lengths of flesh off you, but it feels like trying to tear your ear out by the root. "HAAAAAWWWWW!" you bray in pain.
Lyra yells at you, "Calm down!" But you're having none of it.
"Calm down?! We look and sound like donk-HEEEE"

You even start digging at the dirt floor, looking for anything--a dropped key, an actual floor, a trapped floor--anything at all. Lyra rattles the gate again. You feel one of your large ears move to hear that better but try to ignore the feeling. You have animal ears now, you shiver. But you'd rather focus on any possible escape than on what you hear through now.
You and Lyra have been examining your pen for maybe 5-10 minutes when a cramp hits you and you both collapse into the dirt. Lyra brays again, while you try not to make any noise at all. You feel something shifting, something stretching, and when you finally get a look at yourself and Lyra it becomes clear that...
