The wand stopped glowing, and Kat lowered her hand, and allowed a malicious smile to form on her face. "Well actually, Daniel, I have a... proposition for you."
"Such... such..." Dan was so scared he couldn't get the words out, "...such as?"
"You see, I need to pass a "magic test" before I can use my powers for real stuff, like magicking me up a new car," she said, fiddling the wand between her fingers, "at the moment it's just pretty basic stuff. But I need an assistant. I perform the tasks, and the assistant helps. And that assistant will be you."
"What do I have to do? And... what if I refuse?"
"I'll turn you into an 'anthropomorphic being', which basically means you'll be an human with animal characteristics, meat and all," she said, pointing at Dan's stomach like he was a butcher's cut, "And you'll act under me. I'll be changing too in most cases. Oh, and if you refuse, I'll just turn you into a pig, and we'll have pork chops for dinner."
Dan looked at her through slinted eyes, and took a deep sigh. He stood up and stretched. "Okey dokey then. Where do we start?"
