A box appeared on the coffee table in front of Dan. "Open it", Kat said, putting down her spell book.
Inside were thousands of small colored pills, a bit like medicine tablets. Dan scooped some up with his hands and looked at them closely. "What are these?"
"They're Transformation Pills. You eat one color, and you turn into an anthro-animal. Eat more than one of the same color, you turn into the full animal. Eat different colors, and you become a mix."
"Err... you don't expect me to eat these, do you?"
"Yes, I do. Each color represents an animal, but since you don't know which animal is which color, it's really pot luck. If you don't, I'll just choose an animal for you."
Dan took a deep breath. He didn't want to eat any of these, but he knew he couldn't trust his sister to pick. He put one in his mouth. "Here goes nothing..."
