At home, Amy found nothing out of the ordinary. Her parents treated her as they always had, though her mom mentioned once or twice about how lovely her fur was looking today. She managed to finish her homework, despite the still-fresh feelings coming from her cat body.
The next morning, after a pleasant sleep, Lina went into the bathroom to take her routine shower. She didn't expect to freak out when she turned the water on full blast, but when all that spray kicked on she couldn't help jumping and backing into the sink. Regaining her senses, Amy realized that, as a catgirl, she probably didn't like water as much as she used to. Still, she had to come clean sooner or later. She tentatively put one foot into the shower, then the other. She shivered at the way the water dampened her fur and ran down her legs. Once she was completely in, she couldn't figure out which to use on her fur: soap or shampoo?
"I'm going to need to get some more care products from that store," she thought to herself as she lathered her entire body with shampoo. It took a long time, but she finally rinsed her fur clean of the suds. She had almost forgotten her newest appendage, but fortunately her tail had gotten soapy enough from the rest of her cleaning that it seemed acceptably clean.
Once out of the shower, Amy knew she miscalculated the amount of time she had. She began her morning routine at exactly the same time she always did, but she realized all too late that the routine was designed for a completely fur-less body. She desperately tried to wipe down her soaked fur, but had no choice. She put her clothes on over the damp hair and set off to school, hoping the sun would dry her off as she walked.
She was late for homeroom, but it could have been worse. At least she had remembered to put on her magic collar...
