You look at Ivana, then back at the waitress. Sure, the waitress has youth, and beauty, as well as a bestial side. But there's something about Ivana, this eastern European woman which has you entranced. "Thanks, sweetie, and I'm flattered, but I'm kind of spoken for," you say, sliding your arm around a somewhat surprised Ivana. "Can I walk you to your car?" you ask her as you all get up from the table.
She smiles, blushing slightly. "Certainly, my little human, certainly." You walk out with the four of them, your arm still around Ivana, realizing suddenly how content you are.
Ivana is smiling as well, in fact she hasn't stopped since you rebuffed the weretiger. Tanya keeps looking over at you and Ivana, positively beaming. Trevor, however, seems rather upset at your continued presence.
You reach their cars (parked side by side) after walking what only felt like a minute or two. Trevor and Tanya apparently arrived together in a Mercedes C320, while Ivana drove something sportier- a Chevy Corvette.
You say your goodbyes, getting a VERY firm handshake from Trevor. "Nice to meet you, kid," he says, emphasizing the word "kid'.
Tanya eagerly gives you a big hug and peck on the cheek, which you eagerly return, happy to know this is most likely pissing Trevor off. "I hope to see you again sometime," Tanya tells you, smiling at you.
"I hope so, too," you tell her, prompting her to give you another hug.
"Don't hurt her," she whispers in your ear, obviously referring to Ivana.
"I won't, I promise," you reply, meaning every word.
Trevor and Tanya say quick goodbyes to Ivana, and Trevor speeds out of the lot, leaving you and Ivana to say your own goodbyes.
"Well...umm," you begin, slightly uncomfortable. "I guess I'll be going now."
"Wait," says Ivana, "Can I give you a lift home, or...if you don't have plans...would you like to come back to my place?" You can see in her eyes what she wants, but the real question is if YOU want this to continue. The longer you're around her, the deeper into her world you're getting drawn. At some point, there's no return.
