"Well, to make you fit into your new life, a few minor changes have been made as well", mom said. Danielle looked a bit puzzled. "Like what?" Mom grinned, "your education got progressed a bit as well. You're in the same class as your dear sister." Kat fumed, "mom, you can't be serious! Am I really gonna be stuck with...her!" Mom gave Kat a stern look:"You should really have something done about yourself for creating this whole mess...besides, you are the one that set this chain of events in motion, I merely fixed it as good as possible. You are obviously unable to use your powers responsibly, and I am merely protecting your brother-- er, sister from that." Danielle now walked upstairs to check out her room and sure enough, it had been remodeled to fit her change, even her wardrobe and wall posters got updated. "Wow, this is gonna take some getting used to...", she mumbled.
Months went by, and initially the two sisters gave each other cold looks at every moment from breakfast to class to dinner. However, eventually they both learned to accept things were the way they were and they became friendlier towards each other, even becoming rather chatty about the day's events. One bright summer day, Danielle was in her room studying, idly chewing on the bottom of a pencil a few times.
Kat walked in with a wide grin on her face, and leaned over Danielle's shoulder:"Dani, dear sister, want to go have some fun with someone?" Danielle shrugged it off and continued her pencil chewing, "sorry, I'm studying ahead for this test, you know how much work that is." Kat grinned at first, then pulled her wand out of her pocket and used it to turn Danielle's textbook into a spider. She immediately shrieked and dropped it, backing away. Kat chuckled and returned the book to its normal shape, "now that I have your attention...I'm having my boyfriend over tonight, but I don't think it could go anywhere if he doesn't accept what we are, which he is going to find out sooner or later. So I thought perhaps you could help me in playing a few tricks on him to have him get used to it. Whaddaya say?" "I don't know if--" "You know I'm not gonna leave you alone, you know." Danielle sighed, "fine. Now let me finish studying..."
Kat was about to leave the room, but in the door opening asked:"Come to think of it, Dani, I've never seen you with anyone, or have seen you even look at boys. It's strange." Danielle held in her more insulting comments and simply stated:"I've not forgotten who I WAS, that's all. It's sickening to think of that I, with a guy--" "Okay, fine, I get it. At any rate, let's have some fun tonight."
