Amy grabbed a white can labeled "Species Removal Spray" off a shelf and pulled its cap off. "If that chair works, this must be the real thing too," she thought. She pointed it at her tail and sprayed it all over, heavily applying the spray at its base.
She waited with held breath. Would anything happen? Would it really go away? A tingling in her backside told her answers would be coming soon.
She watched in horror as the area around her tail quickly sprouted black fur. It grew in a large patch all the way around her tail, where the spray had hit. The beginnings of a pair of white stripes reaching up her back were continuing the striped pattern of her tail.
"No! Nonono!" Amy pleaded as she dropped the can. It hit the floor with a loud clang. She grabbed her tail and pulled at it in the vain hope that it might just pop right off. The pain was real enough. She let out a scream as her body let out something else. A strange kind of mist shot from underneath her tail, spraying the shelves behind her. Amy plugged her nose in disgust. She couldn't believe she had just done that, that her body would even be able to do that. She dropped to her knees and picked the can up again.
"Species Removal Spray: Removes pesky original species so your body can experience its latest transformation without any lingering DNA mismatches. Caution: Do not use unless your body contains parts from at least two species."
Amy threw the can against a shelf, cursing her own panic for causing this mess and began to sob pathetically into her hands.
