Ben brought up the alter form and was really impressed by the magnitude of things it could change. It went from simple things like hair length and color to more complex things like age, race and gender. He noticed that there was a panel to the side that took personal information. It was as detailed as the list. Ben noticed that all the list items were currently disabled. The note on the page said that the personal information form had to be filled out first. It would be saved in a special database so that if the person ever wanted to return to their original form they could.
It also noted that none of the changes were absolutely permanent. While a person could spend their entire life with the changes presented on the page, the options would always be available to change them again and again. The timer on the top of the page was a convenience so that major and minor changes could be tested.
At the bottom of the page Ben noticed two buttons at the bottom of the page. One was "Submit" which was explained easily (submitting the personal information or the change category). The other was marked "Special Options". The management warned not to try any of the special options until the person was familiar with the regular options. That made sense to Ben, but he couldn't contain his curiosity. Certainly it wouldn't hurt just to see what these "special options" were. Ben hit the button. It changed to the next page. At first Ben couldn't see what the difference was, but when he went down the page he saw there were now options for fur, scales, feathers, tails, muzzles, extra limbs and more. The possibilities were endless.
Ben paused a minute and hit the back button. It was the normal list again - if this could be called normal. Ben decided that he'd do as the site said and try things slowly. Exciting as some of the special options seemed, Ben knew he wasn't ready for tails or fur yet.
He noticed that the timer option had pull down lists for time. The interval was in seconds, hours, and days. Ben guessed that there were no options for weeks, months, or years since this would be a more "permanent" change.
Sighing Ben proceeded to submit all his personal information. Some of it was extremely personal, such as penis size (or breast size for women). He was encouraged to be honest since this information would be the back up if the transformation needed to be reversed. Ben didn't mind. He was okay with how he was endowed. Ben noticed that besides physical data, there was also a great deal of mental questions such as IQ and gender preference. Ben made sure he put down that he was gay and proud of it. He suspected that the "special options included mental changes. Not that he wanted to change his mind, but better safe than sorry.
After finishing Ben hit "Submit". The page downloaded his information. When it returned the panel for personal information had gone and all the options were now available. Ben looked at them carefully.

The site advised Ben to have a full-length mirror available in order to observe the transformation. Ben had a full-length mirror in his bedroom - a gift from a grandparent. It was fairly bulky, but he could move it if he needed to. Ben decided that a better option would be just to bring his laptop into the bedroom and do it there.
Moving into the room didn't take long. It was big enough if he decided to try a different height or weight as long as it was fairly reasonable.
