Peeing was weird. There were no two ways about it. It wasn't at all complicated, and the time spent in the toilet was brief, but the actual urinating was weird. She was glad that there wasn't anyone else in there with her, she might have panicked and gone wrong.
She sat back down next to Janine and there was an awkward silence, which she tried her best to break, but to no avail. She was really starting to worry about whether this whole idea had been a mistake, but after Janine had polished off her first glass of wine, the conversation started flowing more freely, and soon they were joking and smiling and sharing, Mark making sure to use all that she knew about Janine to make there be a subtle amount of coincidences in likes and dislikes and thoughts.
"Janine is really lapping Mark up..." thought Susan.
They ordered their meal, which came shortly afterwards, drank more wine, and paid the bill. This was the part of the evening Mark had been looking forward to since it started, her energy levels starting to rise once more.
"So..." said Janine.
"So what now?" asked Mark.
"Well, you can walk me home, if you'd like," said Janine, smiling so sweetly.
"I'd love to," said Mark, smiling back.
"Oh, but one thing..." she started.
"Yes?"
