A puzzled look Came over Dan as he felt his feet lift from the ground causing his sandals to fall off. Kat walked up to Dan grabbing his ear.
"Hey stop that it hurts!" he yelled in pain
"shut up you idiot mom was the one who wanted me to turn you into something as a initiation rite. If I don't go though with this she will take my powers away and well I thought if i gave you a choice we could both come out happy here, but no you had to make me pity you now get back in here she can't know I'm giving you this chance!" With that explanation Dan stopped struggling and let Kat drag his weightless body back into her room.
"ok how do you remove the levitate curse... oh right" she flicked the wand twice downward and a moment later Dan came crashing face down onto the floor. Getting up with a moan of pain Dan got back onto his feet and was about to talk when Kat interrupted him.
"be quiet for a second if mom hears us talking we are both doomed so let me explain first and see if that answers your questions. First as I said before when the girls in our family turn 16 a part of our heritage of witches activates and if not taken care of immediately it can lead to some really serious problems. Knowing this our family has always dealt with our 16th birthdays really harshly where if we don't follow the family rules and learn to made harsh decisions early we basically get our powers taken away from us. So if I don't do something big to you soon my powers will be taken away and well mom wont want you telling anyone this so don't expect anything nice from her." Kat paused to let this sink in
"Now I want to keep my powers but this is a barbaric and outdated ritual so I'm giving you a chance. Just pick something for now and go along with it we will find a way for both of us to win later. Understand?" Dan nodded in agreement.
