"All right, all right. If I have to turn into an animal, I want to turn into something cool," said Dan. He racked his brains until the answer just popped in there. "I know, a lion! A big strong, male lion!"
Kat breathed a sigh of relief that her brother decided to go along with this. She uttered the spell in the book and flicked her wand.
Dan could feel the changes coming over him. His muscles swelled and shifted. His legs and feet shifted and reformed into what resembled hind legs. His shoes ripped apart as his feet grew. His jeans ripped at the seams as his legs reformed. His hands became more paw-like as his nails grew out into claws. His hair grew out, circling his face creating a mane as short yellow fur grew over the rest of his body. His tail grew out from the base of his spine, with a tuft of brown hair at the end. His face pushed out into a lion's snout and large, sharp fangs slid into place.
Dan had become a large, muscular, anthro-lion. Kat stood before him confused. She though he was supposed to become a full on lion.
"Hey Mom, can you come in here?" called out Kat.
Dan looked himself over and let out a loud roar.
Kat and Dan's Mom walked into the room and was startled to see an anthro-lion standing in the middle of the room.
"Wow...is that Dan?" she asked.
"Yeah, but I was supposed to turn him into a full lion. What gives?" asked Kat.
"Let me see what spell you used," asked her Mom. Kat pointed to the page in the book.
"Oh honey, this is a were-animal curse. No wonder," responded Kat's Mom.
"Is there anyway to take it off?" asked Kat.
"Sadly, no. But hey, Dan might enjoy it. He can just turn into an anthro-lion whenever he wants now. Of course, he may turn into one at other times too..." replied their Mom. "Oh well, he'll live."
She shrugged her shoulders and walked out of the room.
Kat turned to Dan, "Sorry."
