“Heh that one's easy Danielle, I’ll just change you back and we’ll be just fine,” Kat said.
Danielle however was ready. As Kat raised her wand, Danielle raised her right hand. It glowed with blue white energy and Kat felt an unseen force yank the wand out of her hand. The wand flew through the air and landed on the floor between Danielle’s legs.
Kat leapt to pick it up but Danielle frowned. Kat suddenly found her hands bound by manacles made from blue white energy.
“You think you’re something special don’t you?” Kat said.
“No Kat, I don’t. You however, do. Change me back? I’ve been this way for six years now. I’ve come to like being a female and a fox. It’s not so bad once you get used to it,” Danielle said.
Indeed, Danielle carried herself with confidence. No longer was this Dan the sixteen-year-old human male. This was a more mature and confident version of Dan. The fact that Dan actually made a good looking young woman only added insult to injury.
“Please Danielle, I’m sorry,” Kat cried.
“If I release you, whose to say you won’t try something on me. If not now then perhaps when I’m sleeping?” Danielle said.
“Ever hear of the balance of power?” Kat said.
“Oh yes, I’ve heard of it. Anything from two people all the way up to two nations. Neither is more powerful then the other,” Danielle said.
“See, I won’t dare harm you because I know you’re powerful enough to harm me,” Kat said.
“Kat, I want to use my powers to help people. I want to heal the wounded, cure the sick, feed the hungry, and perhaps put an end to war if I can. You want to turn hapless people into animals. You remind me of the coachman from Pinocchio. I want to open up cans of whoop ass on people like him,” Danielle said.
Danielle folded her arms and frowned. Kat struggled against the manacles.
“I like whoop ass,” Kat said.
“Perhaps a little too much,” Danielle said.
Kat appeared to think, she looked into the air and shook her head. “Come on Dan, I know of things. I’ve been a girl for 18 years; you’ve only been one for six. Do you um … like guys now or are you … you know?”
Danielle shook her head. “You might as well say it, you want to know if I’m gay. No Kat, after my first six months I started liking guys. They’re not so bad once you get used to them.”
“I know of guys that you might like then. Let me go! I promise I’ll be good,” Kat said.
Danielle frowned. She pointed her right hand at Kat and the manacles vanished. Kat sighed in relief before rubbing her wrists and picking up her wand, all while keep a close eye on Danielle.
“So, what do you want to do first?” Kat asked. She put an arm around Danielle’s shoulders and looked into her eyes. “Think of what we could do together. With our combined powers, we could…”
“We’re not taking over the world Kat. Turning a bunch of people into donkeys might be fun for us but not for those people,” Danielle said.
“Awww, come on, you’re no fun. There must be some people we can transform,” Kat said.
“I’ll only do it if the person wants it,” Danielle said.
“Oh okay,” Kat said, a hint of disapointment in her voice.
“Come on, let’s find someone that does. I’ll even let you change them. Just no being a bad guy okay?” Danielle said.
Kat nodded.
Danielle touched Kat’s shoulders and the two of them vanished in a brilliant flash of blue-white energy.
