Dan was taken to a large barn filled with pens, the pens filled with animals. Dan was led into a pen with two other cows and a bull, knowing a failed escape would not help his chances at all.
However, he soon regretted not trying to escape before, as a man walked around the barn with the farmer.
"We just got a few new ones in stock, there's a real beauty here."
The farmer pointed to Dan. The man leant on the pen's fence and smiled.
"Yep, you've got a deal. We'll sign the contract now, if you like." The man shook the farmers hand. "When will you have the first stuff in?"
The farmer rubbed his chin and replied, "Well, once we've got them prepared, we'll take them off for slaughter and you can have the first batch sometime this week!"
Dan mooed in horror. No one noticed. He was going to end up as beef!
There was little he could do.
