Susan opened a large bag of props. "The whole point of the project is to put a mythical creature in a situation which the animal it is based upon might be in. So, we've got mermaids, which are based upon fish..." Susan pulled out two fishing rods, with bait. "So, I guess we're going to be fishermen."
Neither Dan nor Rachel liked the sound of that, but they were so caught up in their new bodies they didn't think about it too much. Rachel loved being a mermaid.
They set up the cameras and equipment, and Kat got down next to the pool, loaded a worm onto her rod, and dipped it into the pool. Rachel swam around, saw the bait, and swam over to it, grabbing it in her mouth. "I've got one!" Kat said.
Susan took several pictures as Kat wrestled with Rachel. Although it was obviously staged, Rachel's aquatic insticts were telling her not to leave the water, but still go for the bait.
"Hey... come on Rach... just give, this rod's magic, I can pull you up..."
Rachel refused to let go. Kat gave the rod a yank and took her up and out the water, before grabbing her round the tail and turning to pose for the camera.
Rachel flapped around like a real fish. Susan peered out around the camera. "Hey, maybe we could take this whole fishing situation another step further..."
