Ariving at Jon's country manor we both ran to the house and into his office. Jon had a calander on the wall, flipping to the last page it showed when the moon was full and when it didn't show up at all.
"I'm Damned, I said as we stared together at the equinox."
The night I needed to give this to some willing recipient, was a full moon. I looked at Jon and he reached to me laying his hand on my shoulder.
"Have you thought what your going to tell the Misses. I mean there's on way to get back to Kalamazoo, Michigan, ole' U.S.A. before the curse is in force, said Jon."
"I have an idea if your willing to help. If perchance the car had a fire and or explosion then I could be claimed as dead."
"Ya, dat might verk, and when you change I can offer you a home here, said Jon with a smile. I have twelve Alaskan Malmutes I use for snow sled races' you can stay in the kennel."
Jon began to ramble about the fun of snow sled racing and how the dogs love to just run. He made note that only he would know that I was human before being one of his Malmutes'.
As he babbled and rambled about the kennel and his breeding of the dogs and how I could help bring new blood lines to increase the intelligence. He stopped and stared!
"I sorry my friend, I mean in a few days you will become a male Malmute. As such other than racing your ability as the stud with tweleve bitches, well you see my point!"
I shook my head as a silent YES, and looked toward the floor.
"Come then we shall prepare a kennel and run for which you can call home after this friday night."
We walked out to his truck and drove to the farm and garden store near by. Jon knew what was needed and loaded we drove back to set up where I was to live.
