Jared felt her legs start to move her toward the scent without a thought. It was automatic. Deer mated for days to insure that the seed was fertilized. Even if the medallion knew that Jared was pregnant already, her body and hormones didn't. For a fleeting moment, she had an image in her minds eye of another night or two with the buck.
