"So, you're telling me you're Timmy, changed by this necklace into a girl."
"That looks to be the case." Timmy quipped delightedly. Somehow she came to terms quick with the change. "From what the woman selling the necklace to me said, it appears I became a girl, because the bra was something most likely worn by a girl."
"And this change somehow resulted in you having better breasts than I do?!"
"Yep!" Timmy chirped excitedly. This triumph of sorts seemed to be the crux in her comfort. Somehow holding something over her sister was way too enjoyable.
"It's not fair!" Jessica whined. "We're twins! We should be the same!"
"Hey, we still look the same... I'm just a bit better along. Besides, I was a boy from birth. I'm pretty sure that entitles me to some differences."
Jessica still seemed mopey. "Almost three years. Three years of enduring monthly discomfort, and what do I have to show for it?"
"Wow. I didn't know you cared so much. I thought girls were uncomfortable with that kind of stuff. Like, it makes boys perv out over you and stuff."
"It doesn't mean I can't want to look beautiful! After all, I don't see you complaining."
"Yeah, you're right." Timmy shot back. She liked her new look a lot, and could see where Jessica was coming from. "In any case," she continued, "I'll need some help getting adjusted to this. Would you mind... you know... helping me out?"
Jess seemed somewhat more cheerful at the prospect. "Sure, I guess," she said with reserve. "After all, it might be fun shopping for you and everything. Yeah, I guess I will. Before all that, however, there's one question bothering me that I need answered first, and that is why are you so calm about all this?"
Timmy thought, but nothing clear could give insight. "I don't know," she responded. "For some reason, I feel like I've always been like this, or maybe that I was destined to come here, you know? Something like that makes it feel almost natural. In fact, I dare say I feel even happier than when I was a boy."
Jessica stared for a bit. "That's weird," she said. "That sounds nothing like the Timmy I know."
"Hey! Don't make me go through that whole process again. It was hard enough getting you to believe I was me."
Jessica laughed. "Alright, alright, fair enough. Come on, we have to tell mom and dad."
"Do we have to?" Now it was Timmy's turn to whine, as this was the part she dreaded doing.
"Of course. How are we going to get you a bra that fits if we have no cash, or even a way to the store?"
"Well, there are alternate ways..." but her words fell on deaf ears, as she was already being dragged out to the living room by Jessica.
