While Jessica wasn't paying attention, Timmy broke away and ran into the mysterious shop. Inside, she found herself inside a familiar hideout. This was, in fact, the shop that procured the necklace!
And at the counter was Madame Lumina, as floaty as ever. "So I see you didn't get the necklace to your sister, as I expected. Were you at least happy with your purchase?"
Timmy looked at Madame Lumina and thought for a second. "Y'know, ever since I came here the first time, I always had a sneaking suspicion something was out of place. I never did mention anything about my sister when I bought the necklace, did I?"
"No, you did not," Madame Lumina said, "for you didn't have to say anything at all. If the necklace wasn't of any indication, I am of... a special type. A psychic, if you will. I knew all the twists and turns you and that necklace would make, and even your return here, my very words, your question. It was all certain."
"So this is a store of change." Somehow, it only started to dawn on Timmy. "Yet, you say, that everything is certain? How is that?"
"Simple, my dear. You see, all the changes in fate in fact begin here. This is not just any store, mind you. This is the very core of fate itself!"
The magnitude of this statement was lost on Timmy. Instead, another question came to mind. "How do I change back?"
"Do you want to change back?" Madame Lumina asked.
"Yes... no... not right now. Just, is it possible?"
"Of course! Anything is possible here, so long as you seek change in your life, which I'm most certain you will soon enough. So, if you ever seek to change something, to stir the threads of fate, come here and do it, and I promise no charge as well."
Timmy felt settled. Now she had a way to change back to a boy when she wished, though she didn't desire to right now. After all, Jessica went to such lengths for her, it was out of the question. However, another change might be appropriate right now, or maybe not at all.
So, Timmy decided...
