What happened next could be described as a redux. Jeff and Derek, unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast radius, were beginning to change exactly the same as Tabitha once did.
At first, they begin to morph into girls. Their hair lengthened; Derek's hair fell straight down, stopping a bit above his elbows, while Jeff's hair made it only slightly past his shoulders, curving slightly inward. Previously the tallest of the trio, Jeff began to shrink until he was just an inch under Tabitha. Derek leveled off with Tabitha. Their waists narrowed, their breasts inflated, their butts protruded, their hands softened. Soon, they were girls through and through. Jeff was in utter shock, shaking as he examined his new, effeminate hands. Derek was surprised, but seemed more intrigued than shaken.
Then the catgirl features set in. Their ears began to pull upward until they sat on top of each girl's head. Their nails began to distort into more claw-like forms. Their canine teeth sharpened and lengthened. A tail protruded from their backsides. Derek's hair and fur began taking on a platinum blonde color, whereas Jeff remained black. After all that was done, their clothes began to change into the same sailor-style ensemble Tabitha was wearing, complete with a bell marked 'JASMINE' for Jeff, and a bell marked 'KLONDIKE' for Derek.
The room fell silent while everyone figured out what just happened. All Jasmine could do was look down at her hands, and her breasts, and occasionally pinch herself to see if it was all a dream. Klondike, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying herself, almost as if she had expected the change and was fully inviting it; spinning about and stroking her ears, striking a pose every now and then, and swishing her tail to and fro. Tabitha stared on in amazement.
Then it happened. "Waaaahhh!" Jasmine cried out. "My body! My voice! My manhood! What happened!" Just as sudden as her outburst, she lurched forward and embraced Tabitha in a hug, sobbing on her shoulder, only to jump back in disgust of her actions.
"See, I told you!" Tabitha fired. Though she didn't exactly understand what just happend, she was happy she wasn't alone anymore.
Jasmine sunk to the floor, cradling herself. Klondike finally snapped out of herself and went over to comfort Jasmine. "Hey, why are you freaking out so much? This is awesome!"
"What are you talking about!?!" Jasmine retorted. "I just lost what made me me. I didn't want this!"
"You must now realize what this means, don't you?" Tabitha asked, getting back on her feet.
"T-Timmy? I... I'm so sorry for earlier, I..." and Jasmine got back up to hug her, only to repulse again. "Wh-why am I doing that? Am... am I shorter than you!?!"
Klondike got Jasmine by the shoulder. "Now, come here, you're going to faint if you don't calm down. Lay on your bed."
Jasmine complied. True, this was too much for her. So she lay, and everyone settled, as Tabitha tried to make sense of what happened.
