Immediately after the flash of energy, Tabitha rapidly began shrinking down out of her white blouse and denim skirt. Orange tabby fur spread all over her body, while her breasts deflated into her increasingly furry chest. Then, her fingers and toes shrank into paws as her nails grew into claws. Losing her balance, her rear paws came out of her stockings and penny loafers as she tumbled over onto all fours.
Realizing that she was turning into a cat, she began to moan, but the moan rapidly turned into a meow as her head reformed into that of a tabby cat.
In seconds, Tabitha had changed from a catgirl into an ordinary tabby cat. Her clothes lay piled at her paws, but still she wore the collar with the engraved bell, which now had shrunk to fit her little cat neck properly. The crystal she had been holding was broken into dozens of small fragments.
Tabitha stared at the shattered crystal shards at her paws and meowed mournfully. What would she do now?
Her friends Jeff and Derek just stared open mouthed at Tabitha the cat, struggling to believe what they had just seen. A girl, who said she was their transformed friend Tim, had just turned into a cat in front of their eyes, and it was all because of that strange crystal.
"Now that was freaky," said Jeff.
What next?
