Under the power of the remote, a nearby trashcan toppled over, spilling a load of food garbage all over the ground. Smelling the garbage with his large snout, Jake the pig found himself irresistibly drawn towards the stinky pile. It was like a compulsion. He couldn’t help himself. He had to get his big snout into that garbage.
He trotted to the pile letting out little oinks as he went. When he reached it, he found his mouth was watering at the sight and smell of half eaten hot dogs, old banana peels, dripping soda cups, melted ice cream and browning apple cores. It all looked so delicious to him, and he found that he was suddenly quite hungry.
Jake dug in greedily, snout first, munching away at every scrap of tasty garbage he could reach. As he ate, he grunted to himself happily, ignoring the gathering flies that buzzed around his head. It seemed to him then, as he rooted through that pile of garbage, that being a pig wouldn’t be so bad after all, so long as the meals were this good.
