HELP ! SHE'S A......

added by AdobeFats 21 years ago A

Phil ran down the brick path till he saw a small watch tower. "Help, Oh God help, he cried to the person in the tower."

Down the spiril stairs she came a game warden dressed in green shirt, vest, and slacks, but barefeet! "Yes can I help, she said in a calm voice."

"Oh God, my girlfriend Lydia went off the path to aid a Water Buffalo calf. It's mother was killed and Lydia wanted to save his life. But, But she turned into the cow buffalo herself. We need to get her outa there, she need's help."

"Calm down young man, she saw the signs didn't she? She was warned! I saw the whole situation in the field glasses."

"Well lets go get her outof there, said Phil waving his hands and in a sweat."

"I'm sorry Sir but she has decided her fate and sealed her destiny. Crossing the boundary she gave up humanity and has become part of the animal world."

"Are you nuts, she's out there in the grassy plain she could get killed too, Phil yelled!"

"Sir, I can do nothing, and since she did the crossover, I feel that justice is done, besides the calf loves his new mother. Lydia, that was her human name, she is grazing and feeling fine. The human she was is gone and blended with the lust and need for her life as a buffalo."

"If you wish to complain please stand in that booth and beg my mistress to grant you license to go out after her yourself."

Doing as suggested Phil walked over to the British like phone booth and stepped inside. Cool air blew all around him and he saw a speak clearly button one the one wall. Pushing the button a squeal and then "Hello can anyone hear me, said Phil!"

A sweet calm voice like the one he heard coming in through the main gate spoke. " Sir can I help you?"

Phil again told his story of Lydia and how he needed help to save her life.

"I can offer no one of my employees to aid your search. Lydia by now has joined the buffalo herd and is a welcomed addition by some bull. However if you wish to search I can allow this, but you must be naked and search over the plain yourself. I want no human's dressed disturbing the scene. When stripped of clothing, hang them on the hook and step out the back of the booth, good luck young buck!"

Phil knew he had to save Lydia from a beast's life and he was willing to do as asked. All clothes on the hook he opened the door to the great African plains and stepped out.

The smells and sounds of the plain seemed very intense. Walking he felt a renewed strength and began to run along the grassy side of the brick path. At last the water hole and he needed a drink. Lowering himself to his knees he reached with dry lips to drink.

As he sipped the filthy water his reflection was strange. Looking back at him was a deer like face with two huge long spiril horns. Horns poking out of the top of his head. Floppy ears and a mixed coloring of hair. As he again stood up and looked down his long back. The general form of a large deer, but with stripes like a Zebra mixed in.

A loudspeaker burst the noise of the water hole. "Here is a new aniamls for the African animals. An Eland, rare animal that he is now walks the plains. He is tough and cunning, runs well and can jump thirty feet over any Lion. Please welcome him as he searchs for his best friend a Water Buffalo cow."
