Your knees feel rubbery, and you feel bloated. Your hands rise to investigate the wound on the back of your neck. Thank goodness you're not bleeding. You feel around the back of your neck, and frown.
There's something sticking out of the back of your neck. There seems to be a cylindrical stem with a loop attached to a cap. It's like a valve on a beach ball or pool toy. You foolishly tug on the cap, and it pops out of the stem opening the valve. You hear a loud his, and your bloated feeling decreases.
You realize that you're still deflating, you drop to your knees as the air continues to escape from your neck. Your fingers are now like deflated balloons as you struggle to manipulate the valve shut. You realize you can't. You start to crawl using your still inflated arms and torso to drag your now lighter body toward the street. You call for help and pray someone reaches you before you're completely deflated.
