"Hmmm, what's this?" Sean muttered to himself as he spotted something gleaming on the ground, almost buried in the dirt. He bent down to pick it up and discovered it was a ring. "I better hang onto this," he thought to himself as he put it in his pocket. "Someone'll probably be missing it. There might even be a reward."
And then, he thought nothing more about it as he went on his way. It was 10:00 PM and he was headed for "The Grill," the university's late-night eating place. They didn't have anything fancy, just burgers, chicken strips, and fries, but it was a place to go at least.
After getting his food, he sat down and while nibbling at it, he watched as the other college students came and left.
