Trish decided not to change her own body any further, and thought about what else she could do to pass the time. Her eyes drifted over to a pile of clothes lying in the corner. With her parents gone away on business for the last week, the laundry hadn't been getting done. She thought it might be interesting to take her changes out on the town and see what kind of reactions she could provoke.
She grabbed a hamper from the hall closet and heaped the clothes into it. She was barely able to fit it all, and a decent sized pile rose above the mouth of the hamper, but at least nothing was falling out. As she hefted it in her arms, she was surprised how heavy it seemed. Her smaller body wasn't used to this kind of load. It was manageable, but she didn't want to risk taking it down the stairs. She dumped half of the clothes out and carted the hamper downstairs. Then she emptied it onto the floor and took the empty hamper back up. A second trip was all she needed.
She remembered her family kept a small red wagon in the garage that she used to play with when she was younger. She carried the heavy hamper into the garage and found the wagon. It fit the bill nicely. Armed with a couple rolls of quarters, she was prepared to head out.
But one thing stopped her: Her clothes. She looked ridiculous going out in things that belonged on a woman nine inches taller than her. She looked at the remote and found that it had a diverse clothing selection. She pointed it at herself and fired.
Her loose long-sleeve shirt became a pink skin-tight short-sleeve tee. Her bra fit her breasts snugly. Her shoulder-blade-length hair was now done in a ponytail via a thin blue scrunchie. Her pants had changed into a denim skirt that ended just above the knees. Her white socks now fit her perfectly, and on her feet were two black platform shoes that raised her height three inches. "I ought to get away with this shrinking a little longer now," she thought. The outfit was a little more cute than she would have liked, but it served its purpose. Someone as dainty as her should appear cute, anyway.
She tossed the remote into the hamper with the clothes and trotted down the sidewalk to the laundromat a few blocks away.
