The boys were exciting to be going to the island, happily chatting away about what they expected or what they planned to do. Oscar was going to see if anyone could tell if he was a boy or not, partly because he liked tricking people and partly because he liked being thought of as a girl. Hank said the first thing he was going to do is find a bathroom and get rid of his pull-up, then go check out the roller coasters. Nick didn't have any real plans, but he wanted to pick up a souvenier so he said he was going to look around the shops.
Soon after all of this, though, the boys started to run out of things to talk about. So they settled into a comfortable silence as they leaned against the rail on the side of the ship and watched the island growing on the horizon.
About a third of the way there, Oscar and Hank felt their legs start tingling. Oscar was lost in thought, so he didn't notice, and Hank just wrote it off as his legs falling asleep. The tingling in Hank's legs went away quickly, so he didn't worry about it, but the Oscar's tingling spread all through his body, until he finally noticed it.
Oscar looked down, just as the tingling started to fade away. To his surprise, he discovered several things had changed: One, he was a little taller and his hair was longer. Two, he felt a lot happier about wearing that dress all of a sudden. Three, he was now a very cute eleven year old girl. He, now she, briefly considered screaming, but didn't. Sure, this was surprising, but Oscar was enjoying it. She smiled and looked at her friends, who were staring at her wide eyed. "Uh... Is something wrong?"
Nick was the first to speak up. "You... You turned into a girl! That... it's..." The rest was just confused mumbling.
"Oh, um... Yeah, I guess that's strange. But it's not like it's a big deal, though. I was practically a girl anyway. Teehee."
"Uh..." Hank gave his brother-turned-sister a look that screamed 'You're crazy', and continued talking, "Well... Mom did say she wanted a daughter... And you're right, you were practically a girl anyway... I guess this isn't TOO bad, but I'm just wondering... What caused it?"
Oscar's smile widened. "I think I know. I'm pretty sure I heard some boys talking about the last time they were here, and they said the island is magic. It makes peoples' bodies change sometimes, but the transformations can be reversed when you leave, if you want them to be."
Nick finally snapped out of his stupor. "You mean we could get changed into different people?!"
"Um... Yeah, physically, but I don't think they forcefully change how we think. That wouldn't be fun. Besides, you can always turn back when you leave, so just enjoy it."
"I... I guess... But this is really wierd..." Nick trailed off, mumbling something about how it is kind of cool. That's the great thing about kids, they're adventurous and adapt easy to 'abnormal' things.
A little later, when they were nearly to the island...
"Uh, Hank?" Nick asked, looking at his friend.
"Yeah? What's up?"
"You... Um... Did you poop your pants?"
Hank twitched and got a little defensive, "Pooped my pants? I don't do that! ...Well, not in public, but..." He sniffed the air and blushed a little. "I... Oh no... Oh no... I-I can't believe it. I didn't even know I pooped!"
Oscar looked up at her older brother, "Maybe it's one of the transformations? Maybe they're based on what we wear? I'm wearing a dress, so I turned into a girl, and you're wearing a pull up so you lost control?"
"But..." Hank shot back, "But it's a pull up! Those are for wetting, not pooping..."
Nick, being a mediator kind of person, stepped in, "Uh... Come on Hank, maybe it's not a transformation. You probably just got lost in thought and had an accident. It could happen to anybody."
"Hey, that's right! Why was I getting so upset, anyway? It's not like I care if don't have control. Hehe." Hank looked at his feet, embarassed.
"Well... You should probably change out of the dirty pull up soon. I have my diaper supplies if you need them." Oscar said.
So, where does the group's adventure lead?
