You look around the costume shop a bit more, getting a little bored with their novelty products. Most of the items you have seen so far are of low quality and aren't even worth purchasing.
Then you notice a door with a sign above it labeled Masks Hoping that they would be of a better quality than the trinkets in the rest of the shop. Upon entering, your hopes were quickly dashed as the masks were of low quality as well. There was a bear mask that remotely looked like a bear and it was quite ugly. You continue looking and see a werewolf mask. It was yet another low quality product and it looked extremely cheesy, but it has some sort draw to you as you have always liked anything involving werewolves. You notice that it was the only one there, feeling it would be a shame that no one else would be able to make themselves look like a werewolf... even if it was a cheesy one at that. You take the mask off the hanger and spin it in your hands slowly, getting a better look at it. It looked like a normal, full frontal mask you place on your face instead of over your whole head, but there were no strings to hold it on your face. Curious as to how it was to be worn, you cup the mask in your hand and bring it closer to your face. Once you felt the mask touch your face, you let go and amazingly it stayed there.
You were surprised it stayed on, figuring it must have been designed to adhere itself to the user. The eye holes fit perfectly around your eyes, not obstructing your vision in the least. The muzzle fit perfectly over your nose and chin, making it somewhat feel like a part of your face. Deciding that you wanted to buy it, just to wear for laughs, but when you go to take it off, you realize it REALLY adhered itself to your face in the places it made contact with your skin. As you try to pull it off, you feel it tugging at your skin, creating a slight amount of pain. Not knowing what to do, you stop pulling on the mask and run out of the room to ask the shopkeep how you were supposed to remove the mask.
When you reach the shop keep, he looks at you with puzzlement, not knowing why you were bothering him without a product to purchase.
"Young man, how can I help you?"
"Sir, as you can see I am in a bit of a predicament. I cannot get this mask off my face!"
"Son... if this is some sort of joke, it really is a bad one. This mask you say you are wearing is your face and if you don't like how you look, you really shouldn't tell people that you find yourself unattractive."
"What are you talking about! I have a werewolf mask on my face!"
"Here, allow me to prove to you that nothing is there."
The shopkeep bends down, pulls out a pocket mirror from under the counter and places it in front of you, so that you could see your reflection. As you look at yourself, you see nothing but your attractive face with no mask on it. Unbelieving of what your eyes were telling you, you begin to feel your face and all the normal contours were there and no werewolf mask. Confused, you walk back in the section where you found the masks and see that the mask you took was back on it's hanger as if you never touched it.
Weirded out by the turn of events, you leave the room and the shop to go about your business and try to put things behind you, trying to forget about the shop and the strange mask.
As soon as you leave the shop and continue about your day, you hear someone say I am yours and you are now mine. We are one in the same and I shall bring to you benefit beyond your wildest thoughts and dreams! Unsure of who said that, you look around and see no one remotely near you. Thinking you were only hearing things, you continue your shopping in the mall and then head back home.
