"Hey kids! Havin' fun? I brought someone with me!" yelled a familiar voice. It was Josh. He decided to stop by for a visit by the pool as well. He looked at his son and his mermen friends as if nothing was out of the ordinary. There was a kid with him. It was Brian's 15-year-old cousin, Jake, who thought that his cousin and his gang had always had the "gift of the were-merman."
The only person there that Jake really knew besides Brian and Josh was Ian. He liked hanging out with his cousin's friend. In fact, he'd actually developed a crush on the guy, but he knew Ian was straight (at least on land) and had never bothered trying anything with him before. He wished that he could be like his brother and his friends. Then maybe Ian would notice him. Josh watched the mermen excitedly, and wished that he could be like them too. That would be great. Ty heard the guys' wishes.
"Your wishes are my command," said Ty. "But you'll have to do something first. Come on in the pool, the water's fine."
Josh and Jake immediately strippied off their shirts and jumped in.
"Ian," said Ty, "There's something that Jake's wanted from you for a very long time. Maybe if you give it to him, he'll become one of us."
All of the guys started to smile...
