One of the other does made her way to Hannah. It was Lateisha, a non-transgendered doe that Hannah knew from the salt lick.
"Hannah, do you think you should stick around here? These guys are getting pretty worked up, and there's more of them around than us."
"C'mon, they know I haven't agreed to anything."
"You think that's going to matter? I swear Hannah, you still have a hell of a lot to learn about being female. I used to be a waitress at a college-town bar, I know what a bunch of overamped frat boys with a heavy sense of entitlement can do."
"There's never been a rape in the park, Lateisha." Hannah whispered.
"Yeah, that's what they say. Ever think they might be lying? And even if they are telling the truth, don't you think it would be a good idea to keep the streak going?" Lateisha paused. "Look, the rest of us are going to leave now, while their attention is still focused on bashing their heads together. You're welcome to come with us, and I strongly suggest you do."
