"Okay Yukiko! I wish that my brother was only 2 months old."
She waved the wand, and Jiro started to change. His whole body shrank smaller and smaller as his features became younger. The changes were subtle, but Naomi watched closely to take in all the details. His face rounded out and his nose shrank to a little button. His hands became pudgier and his fingers stubbier. After a minute, Jiro appeared to be only 6 years old. Naomi chuckled at the sight of how cute he looked in his now baggy 10-year-old boy pajamas. He was barely three feet tall and much more babyish in appearance. The shrinking continued as he passed through a large growth spurt in reverse. Now he was only a pudgy little toddler. He continued shrinking as he laid in his now extremely baggy pajamas. His dark hair faded away as he became an infant at last, and there the changes stopped.
She stepped up to her now baby brother and whispered gently, "Jiro. Oh, Jiro. Time to get up." She stroked his nearly bald little head.
His eyes opened slightly and he moaned in his baby voice. He appeared very sleepy still, but then his eyes went wide when he caught sight of his sister standing over him looking as big as a giant.
"Waaa!?" he cooed. Again, he looked shocked as he heard his own voice.
"How's my baby brother?" asked Naomi.
"Bay bee?"
"Yes, you. Oh, you are such an adorable little infant now." She tickled him under his chin causing him to giggle uncontrollably. "Yes you are." she cooed in baby talk. "Who's a cute little baby?" He writhed and chuckled, momentarily lost in such a simple pleasure.
When she stopped tickling him and allowed him to calm down, baby Jiro attempted to sit up, but on his first try he found his abdominal muscles were too weak to do the job. He rolled to his side and propped himself upright so that he could examine himself.
"Let me help you," said Naomi. She pulled off his giant pajama top leaving him naked and cold on his bed.
He shivered, both because of the cold and because what he saw terrified him. There was no doubt about it. He was a baby now. His whole body was soft and pudgy and very very small. Above all, he felt weak and helpless.
"Waaa hawaa?" he gurgled.
"'What happened?'" said Naomi, doing her best to translate his baby mumblings. "I turned you into a baby, with this." She held up the wand to him. Jiro stared at it with wonder.
"I bet you're wondering why. Well, you've always been a real brat. You seem to go out of your way to torture me. I really can't stand you most of the time. Maybe if I leave you as a baby, you won't be such a pain from now on. At the very least, you won't be able to sneak into my room or bug me when I'm with my friends anymore."
"Naaaooo," he wailed fearfully.
"'No?'" she said. "Well, I suppose I could turn you back to normal, but you will have to behave from now on or else you'll be back in diapers in no time."
Baby Jiro smiled hopefully when he heard that she might turn him back.
"Or..." she said. "I could just alter reality so that everyone thinks that this is your normal age. That is, everyone except you and me."
"Noooooo!" he cried.
"Are you sure?" she asked. "You'll get to grow up all over again. A couple of years in diapers might change your attitude. How would you like that? Maybe this time when you grow up you'll learn how to be nice to your sister."
Baby Jiro looked ready to cry. The thought of growing up again from an infant horrified him.
Naomi thought a moment as she tried to decide her brother's fate.
"Okay, then," she said. "I've made up my mind. I will..."
