As Mr. Mendes held his finger up to explain something to the boys, he froze in place. He turned gray and gritty. Any detail in his eyes vanished.
"Wow," Josh said, "It worked..."
Ric tapped Mr. Mendes' hard finger. "He's hard, man...All of him!"
"We have such power with this," Josh thought, "Anyone who tries to cross us...will be turned to stone!"
