Afraid that Matt's wails would get too much attention, Jake followed Jessica to the band room. Luckily, no one was in there, and they shut the door. Jake scowled at Matt. "All right, you little brat! No one can hear you in here, so shut up!"
Jessica dropped her load of clothing onto a table set up on the side. There were boxes and tables of junk everywhere, with clothes and other stuff. She grinned and pointed at the collection. "There's all sorts of stuff in here. We can get him some clothes to fit his new look!"
"NO! NO! NO!" Matt was shrieking now. "Wanna be big boy!" His speech had changed, and he sounded exactly like a normal 5 year old. Jake looked at the former teen curiously.
"How much is two and two?"
The child stopped his tantrum, thought for a moment, and then very proudly said "Four!"
"And how much is eleven times nine?"
This time, the boy frowned. "I don't know mu'plication stuff."
Jessica started plucking things from the tables and boxes, and moved to an empty table to lay her choices down. She grinned at Jake. "Wanna try one of these on him?"
Jake looked over the choices, then grinned as he put the medallion in little Matt's hand. "THAT is perfect!" Reaching down, he picked up -
