School had just let out, Sue was walking home as usual after her long day of being made fun of at school. Sue was your average freshman in high school ordinary looks, nothing realy special about her except she was very smart. As she was walking home today she saw a man rushing to catch a bus drop some odd looking device, being a nice girl she picked it up and called for him, but he either ignored her or just didnt hear as he got on the bus. She then took a look at the device, it looked like a gun with a big circular barrel, but one thing that caught her attention was that it was double ended one side had a plus on it while the other had a minus. In the middle was a circular dial that had many things written on it, but she didnt pay that much mind yet as she wanted to see if this gun was loaded first so she went off to the side and pointed it at the ground careful to make sure neither hole was pointed at anything and pulled the trigger, nothing happened, though she could swear she could almost see a faint light come out of one of the ends. Now that she knew it was not loaded and she wouldnt acctualy kill anyone on accident while investigating it she continued looking at the rest of the device. When she looked at the dial she saw earlier to see what was written all around it she laughed it had a lot of things that didnt make any sense on it like height, age, weight, brains, genitals,, hair, body hair, or breast(feel free to add more). This thing had to be a complete joke what kind of gun had things like that written on it and the two barrels being pointed in oposite directions made no sense either. She set it to height and jokingly aimed it at some random person across the street and fired. Oddly enough something did happen the person accross the street slowly started to get taller he did not notice of course as he was too busy reading the paper, but Sue noticed, she also probably notices so quickly because as he was getting taller she was getting shorter and thus makinging it much more noticeable to her. she let go of the trigger and started panicking, she thought maybbe if she aimed it at herself it would fix this, so she turned the gun around and fired at an angle, but nothing happened. Now she was really starting to panic, but an idea popped in to her head, she noticed that previously she had aimed the plus side at the guy, and the minus was aimed at her as naturaly it would be when fireign correctly, though at an angle it was at the ground, so she aimed the minus at the guy and tried again. This time she slowly starteg to get taller as he was slowly shrinking. When she reached her original height she let the trigger go. Very much realived, but very intrigued at how this gun works she put it in her backpack and went home to decide what to do next as well as drop most of her stuff off back home.
