Finding a smooth spot, Joe laid out his beach towel and settled down on it. "I'll just lie in the sun and work on my tan." he said to himself "Maybe then I'll have better luck attracting girls.". Joe fell fast asleep in the hot sun, and didn't realise what was about to happen to him...
Joe awakened to see that the sun was low on the horizon. "How long have I been asleep?" he said, and instantly got a bigger suprise - he was buried in the sand, with only his head and feet exposed. He tried getting up, but the sand was too heavy!
"HEY! WHO DID THIS!!" he yelled "COME BACK HERE AND DIG ME UP!". But the beach was quiet. Joe didn't hear another sound apart from the waves gently crashing on the beach. He was all alone on the beach - but not for long.
