Keith grinned at Harrison. "Double or nothing, newshound?"
"OK." said Harrison. "My call this time. I'll take Spike."
Keith breathed a tiny inward sigh of relief. He knew Jackie would be rooting for Sam, and things would be better between them if they were cheering the same side. And there was a slight feeling of solidarity, as Keith, Jackie and Sam had all changed sexes. *Go Sam* he thought. *Show them that the best men used to be women*

"Wow." said Mike. "Did you see that? He just totally wasted that guy."
Jasmine snuggled closer. She really didn't care very much about what the bucks were doing herself, although that scarred buck looked nasty, but she was happy that Mike was happy. She made a note at the back of her mind that the next day they would do something she wanted to do. She wanted to be a good girlfriend, not a doormat.
Laurie was relieved that an orgy hadn't broken out on the spot when Leticia showed up among the bucks, but she was still acting protective to the little newslynx. The newslynx was explaining that on the other side she was in her forties and well aware of the realities of life.

Lateisha closed her eyes and said a prayer for Leticia. Her worst fear, that the bucks would converge for a gangbang, hadn't been realized. So far the authority structure among the bucks seemed to be holding, but Lateisha hoped the huskies were in the area.
Hannah was worried about Leticia too, but she had to confess she felt a little pang of envy seeing her on her judge's throne, elevated above a crowd of hot bucks. Then she looked at Spike and a cold chill went down her back. No, she didn't envy Leticia.
Su Yin was worried about Leticia, but part of her was wondering what chapter of the book she planned to write about her experiences in the park this incident would go in. In the opening to grab the reader's attention, or as the climax of a narrative?
Jenny was worried about Leticia. What was going on in her mind that this seemed like a good idea? Jenny had always felt in control when she had been with a buck, but Leticia seemed to be losing it.

"Males are idiots" Naomi muttered. "A beautiful park, new bodies to explore, and all they can think of to do is bash their heads together. They could have all the sex they wanted if they were just willing to have conversations with the does, but that's apparently too much trouble." She flashed back to the bucks whose antlers she had had to disentangle when they were practicing for the tournament. For the hundredth time she rejoiced in the fact that turning into a dogmorph hadn't turned her straight.

"C'mon Sam, c'mon Sam" urged Rob and John. Rob had a faint feeling of guilt in that what he now feared was being treated the same way he had treated does, and before that, women. *If I get out of this with my balls intact* he vowed *I'm going to try to stop being such a jerk with women*
Sam noticed that Spike wasn't as focused as he had been in his previous matches. His eyes kept sneaking over to Leticia. *There has to be a way I can use this* he thought.
