Jim rang off, and Sharon went in search of some clothes.
But then she noticed a book on top of her dresser, entitled "Learning to Live as a Lizard-Girl: What You Need to Know".
"How convenient," Sharon said to herself. The picture on the cover was of a woman, who looked just about entirely normal apart from the fact that she seemed to be halfway through the process of molting, and there were some eggs in the background. She opened it up, and started reading through it.
There was a letter tucked behind the first page. "Dear Madam: You will have received this book after being transformed into a lizard-girl. You don't remember being so transformed because upon completion, your memory of the whole transformation process back to 48 hours before the beginning will have been erased. Within that time, you met a group of Saurian tourists who administered our new recombination procedure as a courtesy for your hospitality. The procedure improves the human genome by adding a few of our genes, most of which exist in some form in various reptile species on your planet. As a token of reassurance to remind you that you are still a mammal, though now also a reptile, an enlargement to your breasts was included in your procedure, which we are told is pleasing to the males of your species. Everything you need to know about your biology is in this complimentary book. Do not be alarmed, you accepted this procedure willingly, though possibly impulsively, whilst intoxicated, and in response to your red-haired friend's wager. As a courtesy, we erased her memory of our encounter. A copy of the form you signed is on the back. As one final courtesy, the benign synthetic virus that was used to administer your procedure is now perpetually in your system, and is sexually transmissible. Share it with your man friend.
Sharon flipped the letter over, and sure enough it was a copy of a release form with her signature on it. She must have been either very drunk, or Robin had made a generous wager. Maybe both. She flipped open to the table of contents.

How convenient, Sharon thought. Mentally she was creeped out by all of this, though she was simultaneously excited at the fact that there were two more abilities to try out, and relieved that what had happened to her was already complete--she still looked normal and that didn't seem like it would change.
Sharon shifted mental gears and considered her tongue. It felt normal in her mouth--was it really two feet long now? It didn't feel any different as she licked her lips-- so she tried sticking it out farther. After the tip got about one inch past her lips it started feeling odd, as her tongue began to stretch and unfold up from the bottom of her throat, until her tongue touched the wall, which was just over two feet away from her face. She was about to try something else with her tongue, but she heard the sound of Jim's car, and thought of an interesting way to greet him while trying out the other ability the book mentioned.
Sharon approached her front door, still naked, and tried pressing her hands on it. In a manner almost exactly like Spider-Man (Gecko Woman, she corrected herself) she found she could easily pull herself off the floor while clinging to the door. She lowered back down for a moment to unlock the door, and then climbed up to the ceiling, where she waited for Jim to enter her apartment.
