Looking at the puddle, you think for a second. Sure, it can do some impressive things to your shoe, but what about if you dipped yourself into it? Would it make a new shoe on your foot, made to fit you perfectly? Or maybe it'd just fail to work. Maybe it only works on clothing. Of course, there's only one way to find out.
The questions flooding your mind soon push away any concept of danger you might have had in thinking up what you're about to do, and as you pull the bunny shoe back off you feel absolutely no doubts about what you intend to do. In fact, all you can do is wonder over what kind of costume it'll put on you. You find a particularly deep-looking puddle, this one a thick brown made vibrant by the latex's sheen, and carefully dip your toes it. The latex doesn't resist at all, parting effortlessly to let your foot continue its slow plunge as you feel the warm caress of the liquid around your skin. You push it in deeper, submerging yourself halfway up your foot, and still feel nothing but that inviting embrace. Soon, you find the puddle to be quite a bit deeper than you'd expected, having gotten your foot in up the ankle, before finally hitting bottom. Deciding that you've gone deep enough, you pull your foot back out. The brown latex, which you'd expected to either make some exaggerated costume part on your foot or simply drip away, does neither. Instead, most of it stays in place, only a thin layer that's stuck so tightly to your skin that it doesn't even seem to be thicker than your uncoated foot coming out with your foot. Once you've pulled it all the way out, you wonder at the featureless mold of your foot it's made, perfectly in the shape of your foot and yet without a wrinkle or crinkle in sight. It's perfectly smooth.
Having gotten your answer, you reach down to take the latex mold off your foot. It's not until you attempt to that you start to realize how stupid you've been, as your fingers refuse to pass under the tight brown layer covering your from the ankle down. Even though there's a very clear line between your uncoated skin and the latex, you find it completely impossible to get between the two! It's stuck!
