Andrea started to tell Molly who she actually was. "Molly, I'm --"
And then Molly's eyes glazed over a little bit, and she moved in for a kiss, a deep kiss involving some tongue. It was something Andrea had dreamed about, having Molly's warm lips pressed against hers -- well, actually, the dreams used to involve the lips being pressed against his.
The kiss finally broke, and Andrea said to the dazed Molly, "Look, I know you're gonna have a hard time believing this, but it's me, Andrew."
Molly shook her head a bit, as if she were trying to wake up. "What? Huh?"
"There's a back room here with some old-timey mechanical games. One of them said it was a wishing machine, and it actually worked. I wished to be irresistible to you, and I turned into a girl! Uh, I guess you can call me Andrea now."
"Andrew?" said Molly, frowning a bit, looking over this girl of her dreams that had appeared before her. Finally, she put her hand to her mouth. "Oh, my God, I can't believe I didn't see it -- you still look kind of like yourself as a boy, and I recognize your shirt. I don't -- I mean -- when I told you I wasn't ready for a relationship, I've been questioning my sexuality, and -- yeah, I realized I'd been fantasizing about you as a girl, but -- Andrew, I can't believe you're a girl!"
"I didn't know what was going to happen when I wished to be irresistible to you!" retorted Andrea.
"Obviously, or you probably would have changed your clothes along with your body." Molly grinned briefly, but then put her hand to her chin. "Is that wishing machine only one to a customer?"
"Oh, I don't know," said Andrea. "What, do you want to make a wish?"
"Yeah, first of all, I want to turn you back into a guy," said Molly. "You shouldn't have to change who you are to benefit me, or anybody."
"But, Molly, I --" Andrea started.
Molly interrupted. "And then, if I can do a second wish, I'll make myself bi."
"What?" said Andrea. "But you just said I shouldn't have to change --"
"It's not really changing who I am," said Molly. "It'll just, uh, widen my horizons. Come on, show me this wishing machine."
The two started walking through the arcade. Andrea said above the noise of the games they passed, "I can't believe how fast you accepted that there was a wishing machine here."
"As much anime and other fantasy stuff as we've watched together, I figured we'd run across something magical at some point," said Molly with a smile.
Andrea led Molly into the back room, but then stopped. There was someone else standing in front of the wishing machine, looking at the card that had just been dispensed to them.
